Redditors noticed the change a few days ago and a Google representative confirmed this subtle change to a reliable source saying "Great to see people noticed and appreciate even single pixel changes." The change was to make it look sharp regardless of the users screen resolution.

Any Kenyans who noticed this? They probably did not care any way…#BabaWhileYouWereAway was what we all cared when Google was busy making the serious changes on its logo.
